Bobby Quintos

Based in Houston, Bobby founded Argo Group LLC. He has over 30 years as an executive with oil and gas majors and has had several expatriate postings in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. He spent seven years in South Korean shipyards as lead ABS Surveyor for EPCI new construction of VLCCs, LNG Carriers and fifth generation deep-water drillships as well as authored the ABS Guidelines for Dynamic Positioning Systems. As a senior executive for BP, he managed marine operations for seven major oil production platform assets in the Gulf of Mexico with a total value of US$ 8 billion.

He also spent two years with BP Iraq as the Business Development Manager for export Infrastructure to support the Iraq Rumaila field production increase from one million barrels of oil per day to two million barrels today generating US$ 200 billion in revenue for Iraq in the last six years. From 2014 – 2016, as BP Asia Pacific Logistics and Infrastructure Manager, Jakarta Office, he was responsible for logistics operations and maintenance for Tangguh LNG Terminal valued at US$ 3 billion with 7.6 MTPA liquefaction capacity.

Bobby has successfully developed utility scale PVE projects in South Africa and Belize. He has been interviewed by LNG TV and Energy Dialogue to discuss global energy transition to sustainable renewable energy and was invited to New York City in December 2022 to be a guest panelist at the Solar Connections Event, a by invitation only renewable industry event. He is also a lead developer of Green Hydrogen projects in South Texas focusing on geothermal energy and PVE energy to generate hydrogen.

Bobby holds a Bachelors of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from SUNY Maritime College, and a Command and Staff Diploma from the postgraduate US Naval War College. He is a decorated war veteran for his active-duty tour in Baghdad in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. His unit was responsible for interdicting Al Qaida Iraq oil theft and illegal sales. He reported to USFI Commander General Odierno and General Austin regularly.
